On this page I'll post new happenings around the barn and at shows and I'll also keep a list posted of what shows I'll
be attending. I go to many shows not only in Michigan but in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinios!

News at LLR!
Posted 11/07/09--- Hello! It's supposed to be a bright and sunny day here in Michigan so I'm
hoping to do some rebreedings and breedings as I clean the barn. I still am not the best at palpating but from what I can
tell Hilda, Dimes, and Bravo took from the last set of breedings I did. I think Mahi may be preggers but I can't tell for
sure on her and a couple of the others. I really need to get these guys going because these are my National babies for both
breeds! :) I've got a handful of older Elop does that are on the chopping block and if there isn't a litter produced
before the show at MSU on Dec 5th they'll be going to the meat man. Feed is too expensive to waste on does that
aren't producing! I'm hoping to put up new pictures of the hares today but we'll see if that happens. It takes twice
as long to get a good hare picture then it does an Elop! So anyways, not a whole lot of news but breedings are happening and
litters are on thier way!!! :)
Posted 09/14/09--- Well Ionia was a lot of fun but very very exhausting! On saturday I placed
well with the elops but didn't take any classes. There were 17 hares exhibited on Saturday with 5 different exhibitors! It
was really nice to have people to show against that weren't showing rabbits I sold them! In show A Enemy took BOB and
his sister Pistol took BOS. In show B Bravo took BOB and Enemy took BOS. Bravo has a lot of Jr legs and now she has her Sr
leg for her Grand Championship! On sunday I won the broken Jr elop buck class with Roosavelt and the broken Int doe class
with SL's StopNstare! We had 123 English lops exhibited that day! WOW! Ionia weekend we usually have at least 100 elops and
these were all very nice animals. We had two people from PA and two people from Illinios....we even had two LRCA Zone Directors!
:) This was a great showing of Elops. It was great to get to see some people who I don't get to see except for Nationals
or Conventions. I have a new addition to the herd, Imagination Acre's Oliver. He's a very nice buck sent up to me from
Whitney Post...so far this is the second time I've traded bucks with her and again I am beyond happy with the wonderful rabbit
she sent me! His legs are super long and he's an all-around nice buck. Thank you Whitney! I am getting ready to
do my Nationals breedings and will post them on the For-sale/Litters page as they are done or planned out. I also
have transport to Convention if anyone is interested in English lops or Belgian hares. I am waiting to see if some of
my breedings took before sending off some of my Sr Elops, so if you're curious if something will become available feel
free to ask!
